Payment Policies

Security deposit is due within 7 days of being notified your reservation is accepted.  It will be fully refunded within 10 days of your departure, provided there are no damages to the property, beyond normal wear and tear. One-half of rental amount, including fees and taxes, is due 60 days before arrival date. The remainder of rental amount, including fees and taxes, is due 30 days before arrival date. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date must submit all deposits, rental amounts, fees, and taxes within 7 days of receipt of reservation confirmation. If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days before the arrival date, your deposit will be fully refunded (less 5% fee if you paid by credit card). If you cancel or shorten your reservation within 60 days of your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full rental amount, unless we are able to re-rent the house.  If we are able to re-rent the home at the same rate that you had reserved at, all deposits and payments received will be refunded.  If we re-rent the home, but not for the full period you had reserved, or at a discounted rate (offered within 30 days of arrival), you will be responsible for the difference in rental fees. Guests are responsible for keeping home reasonably clean and preventing damage to structures and furnishings, normal wear and tear excepted.  Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of some or all of the security deposit, as well as addional liability to guests if damages exceed security deposit amount. This is a NON-SMOKING home.  Evidence of smoking inside will incur charges against the security deposit. The renting individual must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire reservation period.  This is not a party-house for college students.  Falsification of reservation information will result in forfeiture of ALL deposits and rental payments received. We accept checks, money orders, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  Credit card payments are processed for us through PayPal.  If you pay by check or money order, we will pass on a 2% discount on the above rates to you.  A $100 fee will be assessed for any checks that are returned due to insufficient funds.
